For me, the more interesting question is why so little activity? Is it because, (a) they don't have much time to search for investment opportunities, (b) the available pool of local capital is very limited or (c) the quality of most local startups simply isn't good enough to warrant serious consideration by investors? Again, this is just one group not the entire Mtl angel community. Angels are people who invest their own money. For me, the more interesting question is why so little activity?
