		<description>Well, there *are* new tech startups built on something else than just a product idea built using current technologies. Sometimes a completely new technology is what drives the company and it doesn&#039;t follow (or builds on) the industry&#039;s standards.
Agreed, these branching techs are rare and they&#039;re probably a very low percentage of the pitches you might get. Green entrepreneurs eagerness put aside, I think it&#039;s dangerous to think of innovation as a predictable thing.
Maybe your best investments will be in pitches that *justifiably* start with these words...
